For the world's largest co-living and co-working space for game developers
We're growing rather quickly, and we're looking for someone to help manage our growing community and social media presence. Spelkollektivet is a small and quite a unique startup company, therefore this job description is perhaps a bit broader than a typical community management role.

"Spelkollektivet is a co-living space with a variety of services included for game developers from all over the world who want to pursue their dreams while living with like-minded people. While living here, you don't have to deal with everyday tasks such as cooking and cleaning. You just focus on your health and your projects.

Everything is included in the rent - breakfast, lunch, dinner, bedroom, office space, internet, electricity, furniture, and consumables such as shower gel and laundry detergent. You'll be sharing the experience with other awesome game developers from all over the world. And, even though you might work alone, we're still a big team that always has each other's backs."

Our house is ~2400 square metres and we've got a ~12500 square metre lot. There's currently ~30 game developers living in the house and among them are 4 volunteers and 3 employees. 22 different nationalities has been present in the house since we started back in September 2017.

What you'll be doing:

• Be the go-to person for guests looking for information on what's happening in the house and where to find things in and around the house.
• Write guidelines, documents and notes to help structure and improve day-to-day life for the people living and working in the house.
• Welcome new residents (or "homies") to the house and get them initiated and up to speed with what's going on.
• Plan, manage and execute activities and events inside and outside the house.
• Act as spokesperson for the brand on domestic and international industry events.
• Manage and organize volunteers.
• Develop and execute social media and content strategies to grow our social media presence and enable us to find new residents (or "homies") and business partners.
• Regularly track, monitor and report performance of social media campaigns and accounts, and optimize for efficiency based on learnings.
• Set goals for your projects and track progress against achieving those goals.

About you:

• You've got exceptional English, written and verbal.
• You've got a keen eye for details.
• You're interested in social media and how it works.
• You enjoy going to parties and having fun.
• You're friendly.
• You're understanding of equality.
• You're able to keep a cool head in emotional situations.
• You're analytical and quantitative.
• You're self-motivated and interested in improving.

Additional information:

This position is full-time, preferably starting 1st of June 2019 and located in Väckelsång, Sweden. If you're interested in the role, we offer help with relocation, as you may live in the house and enjoy the services which our customers do. We're still a startup in its early stages, and therefore only able to offer 20.000 SEK as monthly salary at this point. We expect 40 hours per week, but do not have set working hours. You're free to plan your week as you see fit in order to do your tasks the best way possible. Living in Sweden, you have various public holidays off from work, as well as 25 days of paid vacation per year. Vacation and general time off is planned together with your manager. We'll be taking interviews continuously as we get applications and we'll at the soonest make the decision on who to hire on the 1st of April 2019.

How we evaluate the applicants
1. Relevant experience.
2. Existing network.
3. Industry experience.

Please send your application to james@spelkollektivet.com with the subject line "Community Manager".
