Massive Entertainment is a premier producer of games and interactive entertainment for the global market. Job Description

At Ubisoft, we greatly value our community, and we strive to have the best possible collaboration with them. Now we're looking for a manager for our talented community developers primarily spread across Sweden, Finland and Germany, but also with a relation to studios worldwide.

Our new Community Development Manager will empower his/her team to build strong connections between the gaming community and various internal Ubisoft teams, managing key areas of communication, asset development and continously working to improve and expand the game experience. To do this you will utilize your through understanding of contemporary gaming genres and platforms, including fluencey within games-as-a-service and production flow. All whilst having your team's best interests at heart.

Responsibilities
• Management of a team of 7 Community Developers responsible for the engagement strategies across a variety of titles
• Provide oversight for execution of ComDev plans and mentor teams to provide guidance on professional growth
• Act as link to the development teams and marketing managers and ensure team needs are being met by community development team
• Ensuring alignment with brand values in the day-to-day/crisis communication with the community
• Supporting the production teams with early guidance on community needs in order to provide feedback on features, tools and product design that drive the community's activity
• Tracking the budget of the Community Development initiatives
• Organizing and driving consistency in team reporting, including both product-specific reports as well as competitive/trend analyses
• Contributing to the establishment of best practices/procedures
• Training and onboarding of new Community Developers to ensure integration with the teams they support

Your passion for gaming and you might have personal experience as an active member of online gaming communities gives you an advantage in terms of relating to our core audience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience working in community management, social media, online marketing, and/or user experience roles
• 3+ years experience in a professional game development or publishing environment, preferably working on service-based games
• Proven expertise managing teams in diverse locations and dynamic environments
• Track record of building relationships and consensus while navigating complex, multi-national/cultural organizational structures
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of content management systems and social media channels/platforms/services, mechanics, and trends, especially Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Twitch
• Organizational, project management, and cross-functional coordination skills
