Startups are constantly innovating, breaking boundaries and finding new solutions to existing and future problems but are eagerly looking for clients, deals and partnerships.
Corporates on the other hand, while having a strong base, brand, experience and resources within their established industry area, are constantly seeking innovative solutions to disrupt themselves.
So, at Ignite, our mission is to help them to find each other.
What have we accomplished?
The need, interest and value for startup<->corporate collaboration is incredibly high. We started on April 2017 and as we enter our 20th month, we have the hit the following numbers.
Total Meetings booked: 1600
Startups engaged: 290
Corporates: 50
Matchmaking events: 22
Ongoing processes: 400+
Commercial collaborations: 45+
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Community and Digital Marketing Manager to support, strengthen and nurture our network. We are constantly working with a lot of stakeholders like corporate partners, startups, ambassadors, public authorities, sponsors and other supporters.
And we would like you to be our voice and ears in this diverse community.
Your responsibilities:
1. Digital Marketing - Planning and executing social media content and communication plans.
2. Community Management - Managing newsletters and initiating new ways of staying connected with our network.
3. Improving our inbound leads - With your branding and marketing efforts improving our visibility, availability and inbound lead sources for startups and corporate partners.
4. Responsive Customer Support - Being responsive to questions posed to us from multiple stakeholders in different digital channels.
5. Broadcasting success stories - Ensuring our works, success stories and activities reach the right audience and grow our brand gradually.
The impact we create with every match is huge both for the startups and corporates. We have seen young companies grow multiple times their size in just one year after a successful corporate collaboration. So your contribution will be pivotal in building our brand and managing our network.
• 2+ years of experience within digital/social media marketing preferably B2B
• Experience in copywriting in English and design tools like photoshop and inDesign.
• Experience in community management role within startup, scale-up or entrepreneurial environment is a big plus.
• Solid understanding of tech with fascination towards new areas like AI, BlockChain, AR/VR, etc.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Humble and passionate team-player who genuinely believes in our vision to support the growth of startups and corporates.
Ignite Sweden is a program aimed at catalysing commercial partnerships between small innovative startups and large companies. The project began at the start of 2017. An important part of the project is to exchange experiences about the challenges of collaboration between large companies and startups.
