Communications at Sandvik IT Services is a part of a continuous communication process and responsible for providing a sound platform of communication tools and processes to guide, direct and support the management and organization in their communication activities.
We are now looking for a Communications Officer on a temporary post, from April to December 2011.
Key performance areas
As a Communications Officer your main task is to support the dialogue within the organization. To this aim you will:
• Plan and perform daily operational communication activities
• Convey messages in a clear and understandable way, taking the target audience into consideration
• Provide coaching, training, support and tools
• Write, edit and publish information about Sandvik IT Services for both external and internal audiences
• Support the Business Mission and the company?s Key Success Factors
Your profile
You hold a university degree within communications or similar, and you are a writer with good stylistic and pedagogical skills who knows how to formulate, edit and translate texts. Knowledge of Lotus Notes and web publishing is desirable, as is knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and PowerPoint. Experience in presentation skills and communication planning is advantageous.
As a person you work independently, are self-motivated and can cooperate with others. You are thorough, service minded, inquisitive and positive and willing to take on responsibilities. A prerequisite for this position is excellent language skills in English, both written and spoken.
