We are looking for a creative, self-motivated, linguistic, and effective communicator with administrative skills. An interest in and experience from the research community and environmental issues is desirable.
The successful candidate for this position will assist the communications department based in Stockholm by being the department’s communication satellite in Gothenburg. The position is divided in two parts, on the one hand you will work with communication issues for IVL, on the other hand you will assume the role of Communications Officer for Mistra’s Climate Policy Research Programme Clipore,
www.clipore.org, which is hosted by IVL. A fair portion of administration is included in both parts of the position.
Publiceringsdatum2009-09-01Dina arbetsuppgifterYou are an extroverted person with a background in communications that also are a driven writer and networker. You need to able to handle many tasks and projects at the same time, and to cope well with stress. English is the primary working language of Clipore, and IVL publishes several websites in English. Therefore, fluency in both spoken and written English is a prerequisite for the position.
Experience with web publishing is an advantage, but it is not necessary to have any technical web publishing skills. As Clipore is an international research program, experience working in multicultural environments is desirable. Some foreign travel is required to participate in Clipore events.
This position is full time and is placed in IVL's office in Gothenburg, located on the campus of Chalmers. Roughly half of the IVL staff is working in the Gothenburg office.
