Job Summary
The communications function protects and strengthens Tetra Pak's brand and reputation by building relationships with our stakeholders across all markets worldwide. It informs, engages and aligns employees, so that Tetra Pak can effectively achieve its strategic goals and fulfil its brand promise, to Protect What's Good, while sustaining pride and passion in the organisation.
We are looking for a Communications Manager who will be responsible for planning, budgeting and executing internal and external communications activities for the Market Company North Europe.
The position is permanent, based in Lund, Sweden, and requires occasional traveling.
What you will do
The Communications Manager will work closely with the Management, especially the Marketing-Team, to support the needs of the business in our North European Market Company, ensuring a consistent and branded approach to position Tetra Pak amongst target audiences in the different countries in North Europe. The role will be part of an integrated communications team in the region. Reporting to the Communications Director North Europe, the Communications Manager role will require a substantial amount of cross-functional cooperation between various departments including Sales, Marketing, Technical Service, Processing and other support functions.
You will focus on
Planning and implementing relevant communications initiatives for North Europe, with focus on digital marketing.
Driving communications activities in these areas:
External Relations: Including media relations, planning and execution of external events and speaking opportunities, supporting with presentations and speeches, managing media trainings, crisis communications, agency coordination, marketing campaigns, etc.
Internal communications: Including message development & channel management as part of the local communications framework, internal messaging, planning of internal events and other employee engagement projects, as well as regular business updates.
We believe you have
You have a relevant university degree and around 8 years working experience with internal and external communications. Experience in communicating sustainability topics is a plus. You have thorough experience in working hands-on with digital marketing as well as with external agencies on communication, media planning and execution. You thrive in an increasingly digital world with a strong interest and proven ability to innovate in communication tactics. You have a high level of presentation skills and an excellent command of verbal and written communication in English and Swedish.
You have strong abilities to work with and influence others, driving results through collaboration, adjusting to context and connecting with people on all levels of the organisation. Thanks to your result- oriented and pragmatic mindset, you manage projects with a strong hands-on attitude and self-drive. You are business minded and know how to develop communication activities accordingly. You enjoy working in a team, having the ability to build trust and using informal authority to motivate people.
