hela Sverige Wehype is hiring for a Communications Manager. In this role you will help us drive our internal and external communication efforts as we continue to grow our business. At Wehype we connect brands and gamers through tailored influencer marketing campaigns specialized in Youtube and Twitch. Since the start of 2016, we have tripled in size working with global brands such as EA, Logitech and Activision. As we continue to scale and grow our business, we are excited to hire for this key marketing position to help drive the storytelling of our company and services.
Responsibilities:
• Work in close partnership with Head of Brand and Communications shaping our overall campaign strategy
• Perform research on current trends and audience preferences
• Design and implement social media strategy to align with our business goals
• Identify press opportunities and develop content to be shared via social media, websites, newsletters, press releases
• Represent the organization at events and press conferences
• Set specific objectives and reporting on ROI
• Develop and implement best practices for working with agencies
• Interact with internal stakeholders to coach and guide on external communication
Qualifications/Skills:
• 5+ years prior experience working in a marketing or communications role
• Proven success designing and executing marketing and communications strategies and campaigns
• Creative with excellent writing and editing skills understanding the power of storytelling
• Up to date on industry trends and able to stay ahead of the curve
• Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Capable of working well as part of a team as well as independently
• Superior written and verbal communications skills
• Being responsive and adaptive to different situations with a positive mindset
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Nice to have:
• Experience from the gaming and tech industry
