hela Sverige Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT) Communications team is looking for a Communications Business Partner who will work with our global Quality & Customer Satisfaction and Controlling & Strategy functions to plan, execute and follow-up their internal communications.
The ideal candidate is an innovative team-player and a driven communications professional who is passionate about strengthening engagement and business understanding among our employees.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Communications, you will be part of the global GTT Communications team and work in close cooperation with the management teams of the functions you will support, in order to develop, deliver and evaluate communications plans and tactics to support business goals.
Main activities and responsibilities
Understand, evaluate and prioritize business needs from different stakeholders in order to effectively plan and execute relevant communication
Lead the communication effort in the functional organizations that are being supported in order to meet targets
Produce content in various forms such as news articles, presentations, videos, talking points, social media posts. Deliver meetings and events that effectively carry the right messages and build business understanding, engagement and motivation
Support consistency and coherence, ensuring that messages are aligned with agreed organizational communication plans
Advice and coach senior managers in order to increase their ability to confidently communicate strategies, decisions, business context, customer expectations and change initiatives
Participate in communication development projects together with colleagues from the global GTT communication team in areas such as employer branding, social media, and communicative leadership

Critical competencies for the position
University degree in communications or relevant area
3+ year's successful experience in a similar role
Ability to formulate a clear point of view on complicated issues, and create a concise and well-written narrative
Ability to work as a trusted and respected advisor and communication coach to senior leaders. You are not easily intimidated but know where and when to compromise
Hands-on approach, capable of quickly switching between strategic thinking and operational work, pay attention to important details
Ability for teamwork and building networks in a multicultural global environment and has the ability to influence others to make things happen
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with desktop publishing, graphics, and basic video/photo editing software is considered a plus
Solid planner and project manager
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient in written and oral English and Swedish
