The role of Communications and Content Manager is a broad role with several responsibilities in a small team which provides many opportunities to embark on a rewarding career journey. You will develop and implement communication, content and messages for press releases, briefing documents, customer cases, social media posts including editorial support, web content, and direct communication to educate and inform key stakeholders such as media, customers, capital market, employees, and decision makers.
Reporting to the Head of Communications- Sweden, you will ensure executional excellence for all communications measures in line with brand positioning, corporate identity/design guidelines and global strategy.
The position can be located in Västerås or Stockholm.

Your responsibilities
Prepare, prioritize and coordinate communication based on news feeds, events, business, etc. that come from the business areas locally and globally (ABB Group) as well as from other support functions in Sweden.
Content creation in the form of text, photo and film.
Responsibility for ABB Sweden's social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube); strategically plan, prepare and publish content on those channels.
Responsibility for internal communication for ABB Sweden.
Support the production, proofreading and distribution of press releases.
Support with visual and graphic material for customer events, product launches, campaigns.
Identify and highlight key wins, successes, case studies, and technology applications in region. Create stories around these compelling topics to support and drive market leadership.
Your background
You have preferably a Bachelor 's degree with a minimum 2 years of experience in relevant communication positions, including industry experience and project management.
Proficiency with software used by marketing communication professionals such as Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Premiere Pro, After Effects and CMS (content management systems such as Sitefinity).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience of creating and publishing content on social media.
Experience of interviewing and writing articles.
Experience of web editing and experience of photography and film (both creation and editing).
Excellent language skills in Swedish and English.
Desire to seek out new and innovative communication techniques, tools and approaches.
