What you will do
As Communication Strategist you will be part of a team that develops, and implements communication strategies for areas including but not limited to product, sustainability, tech, consumer offers and design/ux. You will implement the strategies into communications to audiences ranging from media, customers, investors, analysts, potential future hires, employees, and Volvo fans to drive brand reputation and business growth.
You will lead project-based teams from start to finish, collaborating with the wider communication team and with people from across the business.
Who you are
We are looking for a progressive communicator who can see beyond the obvious delivery and takes an innovative approach to communication. You are a strong strategic thinker and problem-solver. You can see stories where others cannot. You are driven and inherently curious about what's happening in the world, so you place your efforts into a wider context. You have strong collaboration and leadership skills, are always eager to improve and take a creative approach to building the Volvo Cars brand outside the traditional automotive space.
A strong interest in tech and/or sustainability is a plus.
Preferred skills:
• Minimum 5 years of experience from PR/communications at a global level
• Excellent English writing skills
• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing or Journalism or equivalent experience
