This is us, your new colleagues
We are the Electric Propulsion System Architecture team, a part of Volvo Group Trucks Technology's Electromobility organization. Our responsibility is to create the Electromobility Functional System Architecture for Zero Emission products that are developed within the Volvo Group.
Within our team, we also have the competencies within cybersecurity and functional safety. We are growing and are looking for a Communication Network Engineer. This new position will be responsible for CAN database configuration and management for the complete electromobility product range. Close collaboration with the system architecture design and components team and with different stakeholders to deliver an optimal signal database.
Who are you?
We need your talent, teamwork, and analytic mindset to help us reach our zero-emission goal and to develop the best electromobility communication network.
To be able to take on this challenge successfully, we believe that you will possess the following skills and competencies:
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar.
Min. 5 years experienced in System Engineering for real time embedded systems.
Knowledge in AUTOSAR and ISO 14229 and other network protocols.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Ability for mentorship and technical leadership.
Python scripting, for process automation.
Skilled in Agile development and principles.
Meritorious competences:
Configuration management principles, System requirement tools like System Weaver
Electric propulsion development
C/D driver license
ISO/SAE 21434, ISO26262.
