What you will be a part of
Saab 's business area Aeronautics designs, develops and produces some of the worlds most advanced military aircraft systems and always strive to be in the forefront of technology. This is shown in our product portfolio with Gripen, the smart fighter, and the advanced trainer T-X as the main pillars.Aeronautics main site is located in Linköping, Sweden. There is an installed customer base globally and we are constantly looking for new business opportunities in new markets. With a sales oriented organisation and a growing interest in our products the tempo is always high. The need for a rapid and well structured communication is constant for all parts of our business.
Your role
• To manage all aspects of the Gripen-related g communications activities within your campaign* Draw up strategies and establish, communicate and monitor yearly plans and budgets Gripen, the smart fighter, is a unique fighter concept, bringing a perfect balance between excellent operational performance, high-tech solutions, cost-efficiency and industrial partnership into one, smart fighter system.
Working as a Communications Manager for Gripen, you will work in close co-operation with our Department for Marketing & Sales and Corporate functions such as Press, Editorial and Brand. You will be part of the Aerounatics Communication team and report to the Head of Aeronautics Communication. Frequent work trips for longer periods are to be expected.
• Ensure maximum efficiency and an integrated communication effect approach allocating necessary resources (external suppliers/PR-agencies/ internal resources) to create an efficient operation and output.* Act as an internal motivator and adviser within the field of marketing communication* Be up-to-date on analytical reports and use findings to optimize marketing communication tactics and strategy
Your skills and experience
We are looking for a target-driven and goal-oriented person with excellent communication skills. You are a team-player with a service-minded and solution-oriented approach and you have a good analytical ability and a high flexibility to handle and respond to upcoming situations.You are genuinely business and operations oriented, and have experience of working with communication in an international company. You have good knowledge of strategic and operational work and marketing communication. You have the ability to analyse the market 's communicative conditions and local culture and to set priorities based on financial limits. Experience of working in marketing communications organizations and/or other equivalent experience is a must, as well as experience from defining and procuring external services, such as PR agencies and suppliers.A relevant academic education or equivalent is desirable.
You must be fluent in English, both written and verbally. The position can be located upon your request.
