What you will be a part of
Saab Kockums provides design, construction and in-service support for advanced naval systems such as surface combatants and submarines to the Swedish Armed Forces and other customers worldwide. Our product portfolio consist of the air-independent Stirling system, mine countermeasure systems and submarine rescue systems amongst other. Saab Kockums operate in Karlskrona, Malmö, Muskö, Järfälla and Singapore.Do you have a passion for Communication and is a person with a true "can do" attitude? Due to parental leave, we are now looking for You who want to help us keep the Communication engine running high for at least 12 months. We offer a fantastic possibility to be part of a small dedicated team in a leading global company. In this role you will be able to apply all communications skills in order to support the change agenda, build opinion and develop our business!You will report to Head of communications at Kockums.
Your role
You will take a very active role in using communication to support the change readiness in all parts of the company; develop a positive public opinion through selected media and contribute to sales performance. As Communication Manager, the main tasks is to generate content (text, social media posts, articles, infographic etc.) that can be used internally and/or externally. You will have many stakeholders within different project teams in marketing and market areas but of course also external contacts. It is crucial that you have a collaborative way - at Saab Kockums we believe that teamwork creates results!
Mostly you will work from the Malmo office, but please note that you will work at our office in Karlskrona and on occasion also attend meetings and events in Sweden and abroad.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for someone with a passion for communication. You are at an early stage of your development and have a relevant academic education. You are truly skilled in digital communication and you feel at home within the Office programs and various content management systems.
In order to be able to thrive and deliver in your role, you need to have a natural drive and a doer attitude! We work in a fast paced environment and a sense of urgency is a must!You have a proactive way. You take ownership for your tasks. You combine a service minded personality with a capacity to get things deliver and set requirements.
