Nordic Procurement Unit (NPU) is one of the pan-Nordic initiatives in Skanska. We employ around 230 people in four countries: Sweden, Finland, Norway and Poland. We provide a wide range of procurement related services to the line organization in the Nordic Business Units and to Nordic initiatives. The primary services include project procurement, framework agreements, international procurement and project procurement strategies.
We are now looking for a Communication Coordinator to join our Nordic team in Stockholm or in Oslo. In your role you promote procurement to internal target groups in Skanska Norway and Skanska Sweden.
Key responsibilities and tasks for you as the NPU Communication Coordinator are:
• Producing procurement related material to local communication channels in Sweden and in Norway (intranet, magazines, newsletters, meetings etc.)
• Basic translations of NPU communication material to local languages
• Advising with communication issues in local procurement related projects
• Producing information material to suppliers
• Maintaining external websites for suppliers (e.g. www.skanska.se/leverantorer)
• Limited support in producing NPU’s internal communication material (video updates, conference, country specific activities incl. presentations)
Education and experience
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Communications or equivalent work experience. We also expect you to have:
• Demonstrated skill in written and verbal communication in English, Swedish and Norwegian
• Excellent writing skills
• Pro-active and creative mindset
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent networking skills
• Interest to learn about Skanska’s core business and procurement
The NPU Communication Coordinator is located either in Stockholm or in Oslo and refers to the NPU Communication Manager (located in Finland). Due to the responsibilities both in Sweden and in Norway, you can expect to have one or more business trips within the Nordic region each month.
