Job description
As our Communication and Marketing Expert, you will, together with the EPD Secretariat, develop the plans that contribute to the overall business plan and then be responsible for realizing the activities being carried out and followed-up. This means that you will work operationally, administratively, and strategically. Besides strong copywriting skills to convincingly get the content and messages across while continuously building our brand, you see digital tools as your natural work environment. We currently work with events, social media, the web, press, newsletters, etc. The role includes ensuring that the activities carried out are effective and that we work with sufficient frequency to reach EPD International's long-term goals.
Understanding our target groups, markets, and which activities have a lasting impact will be central. In this role, an interest in learning more about our areas within sustainability (LCA, EPD, Policy Frameworks, Circularity, etc.) will be essential to understand how content in English (and Swedish) can be packaged in the best way.
Main responsibilities:
• Content management (copywriting)
• Managing brand and media inquiries
• Brand identity, cohesion, and growth strategy
• Web management and editorship
• Event management and support
Future responsibilities:
• Marketing
Education/experience
• Post-secondary education in communication/marketing, with an emphasis on marketing.
• Worked for a couple of years as a market communicator and now want to step up into a more qualified role as a communication and marketing expert.
• First experiences in communication strategy are a plus.
• Experience in working with sales and presentation materials, producing texts in English, and having an eye for layout.
• Carried out events, campaigns, and mailings through various digital and physical channels.
• Very good knowledge of English (primary communication language) and Swedish in writing, as the work takes place in both of these languages.
• Experience in working with web and media in various tools. We use the Adobe package, Google Analytics, Salesforce, LinkedIn, DatoCMS, etc. tools, so knowledge of these is an advantage. Of course, you have good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 environment.

As a person, you thrive in a broad communication and marketing role and enjoy coordinating, planning, and running different marketing activities in parallel throughout the entire process. You are a self-starter, impact-driven, and you think in solutions, not in "Yes, but...". Your continuous focus on strengthening your copywriting skills enables you to bring the "stickiness" to our brand to life.
