Tetra Pak has a long history of supporting school feeding and agricultural development programmes. Partly as a result of Tetra Pak's cooperation with local governments, customers and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), almost 50 million school children, today receive milk or other nutritious drinks in Tetra Pak packages in school. Of these children, 30 million live in developing countries.
The position as Communication and Knowledge Centre Manager exists to gather and share, internally and externally, the knowledge gained in the areas of school feeding & nutrition programmes, and agricultural and dairy development programmes. Knowledge sharing is also a way to create interest from both public and private partners to cooperate with us in the development of such programmes.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will be to:
• Manage the FfDO knowledge sharing activities and optimize the use of all communication channels to lift the profile of FfDO. The work includes ensuring regular updates of information in all channels of communication, including FfDO's own websites (internal and external).
• Write and edit related articles and press releases and develop case stories for sharing
• Conduct surveys and be the resource for "surveys" and data collection whenever necessary.
• Focus on finding new innovative ways to increase knowledge sharing and also to develop tools for and participate in carrying out internal and external training in areas related to development and implementation of various programmes.
• Create a Communication Platform and strategy
Publiceringsdatum2011-03-18KvalifikationerYou possess good social- and networking skills as well as excellent skills in the English language. It is an advantage if you know other languages such as Spanish or French. You have an academic degree in Communications as well as a broad experience. You are excellent at written and verbal expression. You are creative, have personal drive and are customer oriented. Since your work involves managing and developing the Intranet and internet websites good knowledge of internet publishing is very valuable. We regard it as a merit if you have work experience from working within, or in close cooperation with, development aid related organizations, if you have knowledge and experiences in related areas such as nutrition, agriculture or other relevant knowledge. It is also an advantage if you have worked in an international environment. The work will include travelling. The position is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
