hela Sverige Prioritize, lead and staff the organization to be able to deliver competitive and cost efficient technical solutions in the area of cab and operators environment
Main Task:
Monitor and support the daily operation of the department and assure an appropriate organization and staffing
Continuous development and improvements of the department?s personnel and operation
Resource utilization and allocation of resources to tasks and specific projects according to assignments from the business
Work with Cab & Operators Environment Manager's in each site to define and drive common solutions within the area of CnOE
Administration of Cabs GTC
Process Leader for CnOE processes
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain the Technology Area Plan (TAP)
Lead and drive Global Design Reviews (GDR)
Responsible for the global "book of knowledge" for CnOE.
Responsible for CnOE component architecture and defining and maintaining standard interfaces
Coach and inspire the personnel
Continuous development and improvements of the department?s personnel and operation.
Monitor the department?s workload and assure good working conditions for the individual employee
Create budget and follow up on a yearly basis within the defined area of responsibility.
Ensure that targets, KPI?s and actions are reached
Through the PBP tool develop the personnel?s competence and setting personal targets
Overall resource utilization and allocation of resources to specific projects and assignments requested by the business (OD program, global reference teams, NPD projects etc.)
Defines and improves the common parts and CAST Technical Solutions (CTS) identification and documentation maintenance processes, seeking efficient and effective improvements, and with a goal of dramatically increasing awareness and use of VCE common and standard parts by VCE design engineers/designers/technologists within the Cabs & OE team globally
Keep updated about relevant project?s status, where employees are involved
To contribute actively in Cab & Operator Environment Management Team
To participate in local networks / site forums
Authority:
Recruit and manage staff within set budgets
Annual salary adjustments
Personal Business Planning and appraisals
Approve trip, attest travel and attest invoice within budget according to Authority Rules
To approve vacation and other types of temporary leave
