Forward Optimization is E.ON Nordic's wholesale energy trading, optimization and portfolio management team. This is a unit with a clear ambition to excel in what we do. We offer you the chance to shape and develop our business and EON's future.
We are looking for a person who is ambitious and eager to make a difference, to join our Forward Optimization team in Malmö. Main role of the team is to generate value by optimizing commodity flows from our internal and external customers. As a Commodity Trader you always look for new opportunities, are curious and go the extra mile to reach your goal.
Responsibilities
Trade power, natural gas and other commodities managed by the team
Contribute to team's strategy around trading & optimization
Make market analysis and implement strategies that support our portfolio
Be part of development of our trading tools
Provide pricing support for structured products
Support team in strive for automation of processes.
As a person you are result oriented, analytical and change driven. You always place the customer first and at the same time you manage to be first in line to support and contribute to your team. You believe the future is digital and are passionate about automation, digitalization and business development.
Talent and interest in trading
Good knowledge of commodity and/or financial markets
Understand the dynamics of trading business
Passionate about problem-solving and finding creative solutions in an ever-changing market
Can identify risks and manage them professionally
Strong computer skills
University degree in Math/Stats, Engineering or Economics
