The department Purchasing Buses & Coaches buys all body products for our global bus production and is currently in the exciting launch of our new generation of buses. We are looking for the new owner of our plastics segments.

Your duties

In the role as Commodity Sourcing Manager, you are responsible for:

• optimization of cost,
• engineering changes,
• supplier capacity and performance.

Consequently, you are the person who will shape the supplier base in the plastics segments, set challenging objectives on performance, continuously challenge cost, invest in capacity build up, negotiate contracts and other commercial terms, interface R&D on serial parts, and more.

You operate in an international environment with suppliers, colleagues in Scania and Traton group.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is creative, commercially driven and results oriented. You are a team player, enjoy building relationships, are good at networking with people from various backgrounds and able to handle several tasks simultaneously. You like a high-tempo work environment and are good at navigating through discussions both technical and commercial in nature. We expect you to have worked previously within purchasing or a few years working experience within a commercial role with budget responsibility and negotiation routines.

As the role involves a large international network and some travel, you are proficient in both written and spoken Swedish and English. Other language skills are an advantage.

In your segments you will partner in tandem with the Project Sourcing Manager sharing the same segments and supplier base.
