We offer our customers services in three business areas; interim logistics and procurement consultants, recruitment of buyers and logisticians, as well as development of our customers' supply chain operations in terms of strategies, models, methods, processes, structure and competence.
On behalf of our customer we are looking for a Commodity manager for a 6 months assignment at a company in Husqvarna.
The role
The Commodity Manager will be commercially responsible within a limited commodity area. You will have responsibility for all commercial relations with suppliers within your commodity and secure targets levels within the Commodity supply base of Quality, Delivery, Costs, and Sustainability over time. You are also responsible for legal/commercial agreements with suppliers within your commodity.
Main tasks:
Create and implement strategy for respectively commodity.Create and maintain agreements for suppliers within responsibility area.Create, maintain & communicate commodity strategy for respective commodity.Create and maintain relations with internal sourcing functions and other stakeholders.
Experience and competence
A bachelor's degree or master's degree in relevant area is required for this assignment as well as at least 2 years of relevant working experience. You also need to have experience in sourcing services for Blue collar and White Collar. Good experience from making priorities and independently identify importance and order of tasks is a prerequisite for the role, as well as experience from stakeholder management.
To be successful in the role you also need to have good negotiation skills and appropriate knowledge about tools and strategies. You know how to define strategies for assigned commodities and have good technical knowledge in the field of your assigned responsibility. Also experience of creating and managing internal and external strategic collaborative relationships is important and you have excellent business understanding.
