We are now looking for a Commodity Manager Fleet for Siemens North West Europe Cluster, you will be located in Upplands Väsby, Stockholm, Sweden.
What are my responsibilities?
In this role you will primarily be responsible for the Commodity Fleet Management for the North West Europe (NWE) Cluster within Siemens. You will take full responsibility for strategic procurement for the NWE Cluster and be both strategically and operationally responsible for Fleet Management in the Swedish procurement team (30%).
The scope of the role is regional and cross-Sectoral or Sectoral responsibility for total Purchasing Volume of Commodity Fleet based on defined material groups, NWE Cluster.
You will be responsible for organization, controlling and measurement of Pooling and Procurement activities in a virtual/ disciplinary managed Regional team striving for optimum conditions on an excellent supplier base through regional Pooling Volumes and common strategies in order to maximize the contribution to the operating result.
Contribute to global Commodity strategy; implement and communicate the strategy in the region to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.
Define and implement negotiation concepts and strategies to maximize savings.
Negotiate regional frame contracts; define core assortment; document frame contracts in relevant Supplier Management IT-systems and foster usage of eProcurement tools.
Perform Supplier Management: Supplier selection, incl. documentation and communication of FPL suppliers (preferred suppliers), regular supplier and strategic evaluations, supplier classifications and supplier development to obtain and develop the best suppliers and to ensure an optimum supply chain.
Generate, document and implement savings, monitor and report on relevant KPI in order to ensure the target achievement within the respective Commodity in the region to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Degree in BA/Supply Chain Management or, for the position, other relevant area. Years of documented experience within the field can be equally qualifying.
6 to 7 years of experience in a related field, Strategically Purchasing and/or Commodity management for indirect materials, with excellent negotiation skills, as well as contracting/SLA . The right candidate has experience of Fleet Management and knowledge of Fleet Management systems and models.
We find it is important that you have a natural interest for cars combined with strong market knowledge of leasing companies, car manufacturers, importers, fleet operations.
Highly proficient technical skills in MS Office Suite (Advanced Excel required), knowledge of SAP R3 is a merit.
Highly developed communications skills including professional written and verbal communications skills in Swedish and English.
