hela Sverige In the position as described, you will be part of our Commodity team.
You will lead and support Regional and/or Global sub-commodities and thereby work in the Powertrain Commodity organization in P&SM, in Region Europe which is integrated into the Global Commodity Powertrain.
Main responsibility:
• Define the sourcing strategy together with the Commodity team and stakeholders concerned
• Implement sourcing strategy for its sub-commodities with support of the Plant Buyers, Supplier Development organization and other stakeholders concerned
• Manage the supply base (identification, evaluation, approval and development of strategic suppliers)
• Responsible for Supply Management strategy (4-Box) and for selected sub-commodities
• Drive QDC targets at sub commodity level and track implementation (TCO, Quality, Timing) with support of Plant Buyer, Project Buyer & Supplier Development Engineers
• Negotiate Framework Agreements (FWA), and other commercial contracts etc
• Overall commercial responsible within OTD for selected sub-commodities
• Support Development projects with project agreements (LOI and development contracts) and related commercial topics
• Validate sourcing proposals made by Project teams at gate review (compliance with Commodity sourcing strategy)
• Support sites according to escalation processes
• Support our Aftermarket organization to recover warranty cost from suppliers
Education and Qualifications required:
• Deep understanding of sourcing strategy process combined with a holistic view on its sub-commodities from a commercial view
• Proven experience in sourcing and negotiations for an international group
• Have the required technical skills to understand and support the combined P&SM and R&D strategy requirements and expectations
• Good communication and English skills and also team-minded
• Ability to take ownership and be the driver for agreed projects and actions
• Creative attitude, energetic and achievement driven
• Knowledge and/or experience from the engine business or related driveline components area is preferable
• Good communicator and networker with important stakeholders (Technology, etc.)
Location: Eskilstuna
Languages: English fluently written and spoken
Travel requirement: 25-50%
