hela Sverige As a Commodity buyer you will be responsible for your own assortment and suppliers in an international business environment. Your daily job will consist of execution of commodity strategies, commercial negotiations, supplier evaluation and selection etc.
You will work in accordance with the Volvo CE processes, the Volvo Way, and the Volvo values and behaviors As this job to a large extent involves external and internal contacts, your people and communication skills in this highly commercial environment is one of your best abilities.
You will be placed in Eskilstuna, Sweden and start date to be agreed.
Qualifications/Profile:
Proven experience in sourcing for an international group
Has a clear understanding and vision of current supply base evolution and supplier market trends
Has the required technical skills to understand and support the combined CST, P&SM and R&D strategy
Has proven capabilities in negotiation and communication
Has the ability to manage on his own a whole sub-commodity
Creative attitude and energetic
Team Player & Fluent in English
Working experience: 2-5 years
Target orientated approach
Team player with a strong drive and the ability to take the lead
