Purchasing & Supplier Management is a function within Volvo Construction Equipment. The Structures & Attachments Commodity is a Regional Commodity serving region Europe with sourcing strategies to make sure Volvo CE can reach the targets of Quality, Delivery and Cost and meet our customer's expectations.
Today we are 10 highly motivated and driven members in a diverse and multi-cultural team. Now we need to strengthen our sub-commodity team, in charge of defining the sourcing strategy for Weldments, Raw material & Burnouts with a experienced Commodity Buyer who have the drive and passion to contribute to great teamwork. Being a member in this team, you will get challenges and opportunities and be involved in tasks together with your open and collaborative colleagues.
The Job
You will build and implement sourcing strategies, develop and manage supplier base: Right Supplier, Right Relationship and Right First Time. You will also negotiate contracts such as Framework agreement and QDC agreement, supporting R&D, Projects (New Project Development), buyers at each site and aftermarket. You will lead and build the long-term plan of this sub-commodity to contribute to the cost optimization of Volvo machines.
The location for this position is flexible; either Braås, Sweden or Konz, Germany.
