Purchasing & Supplier Management (P&SM) is a function within the Operations organization at Volvo Construction Equipment. The Electrical and Electronics is a Global Commodity serving all regions with sourcing strategies to make sure Volvo CE can reach the targets of Quality, Delivery and Cost and meet our customer's expectations.

Job summary
In this job your responsibility will Define and ensure the execution of the Strategy of Software spend (off the shelves or proprietary applications) through the network of Global Electronics suppliers. You will evaluate supplier's capabilities in Software and monitor the development phases during New Product introduction.
Main tasks/responsibilities
• Define the guidelines for Software sourcing strategy together with the Electronics Commodity team
• Manage Software supply base (Identification, evaluation, approval and development of strategic suppliers) and responsible for APQP process execution
• Monitor Software development gates at Suppliers during New Product introduction (from Specification to Implementation), including Software Apps (Google, connected services...)
• Negotiate Contracts (framework, licenses, development agreements) Quality ,Delivery and Cost contracts

Who you are today
You have great cooperative skills and communication skills as you are dealing with multiple contacts both outside and inside of your organization. You have the ability to lead and are not afraid of taking on responsibility. You are used to working in a multinational and multicultural environment.
You have a strategic mindset and as a person you are target oriented and believe there is always room for improvements. You are self-going and organized and love taking on complex tasks.
You have a Technical Education with a Business Mindset. You have expertise on Software design and development of Construction Equipment or any related business. You also need to have knowledge on Supplier Management and Quality tools and proven experience of Software Project Development. Proven negotiating skills is a great advantage.
You are fluent in English verbal and written communication.
