Our location in Stockholm is the Global Head Office of Bombardier's rail control solutions division. The site has over 100 years' experience of signal technology, and supplies control and signal system solutions all over the world. Our high specialized team is engaged in product development of safety signaling.

COMMISSIONING MANAGER
for our location in Stockholm, Sweden

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Commissioning Manager is planning, managing and executing the Commissioning activities carried out by the third-party signalling suppliers and Bombardier Transportation staff. Ensures that commissioning is compliant with all governing safety and quality standards, regulations and contract clauses.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Ensure compliance with the project occupational health, safety and environmental (OHSE) plan
• Co-ordinate activities of the commissioning sub-contractor(s) with the customer's stake holders
• Formulate, evaluate, approve and implement Commissioning Plans, Review and/or prepare site method statements. Lead/direct/supervise execution of same.
• Prepare reports for Head of ITC with appropriate and timely action plans in place to address any existing or emerging issues
• Apply continuous improvement tools and techniques to identify and eliminate causes of waste

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Commercial/Business schooling with a background complemented by a demonstrated track record of success.
• Strong working experience (in project delivery/reporting, project development and/or project management) with technical expertise.
• Well documented experience from working with technical products in the IoT area.
• Experience from infrastructure projects.
• International and/or experience from complex organisations/products.

• Preferably extensive experience of managing large commissioning projects preferably in railway, re-signalling, rail vehicle and wayside Automatic Train Control environment.
• English at a fluent level (Both written and spoken) - Swedish is good to have
