hela Sverige Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Commissioning Engineer to join our passionate team in Skellefteå.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
As a commissioning engineer you will be a part of a competent and dependable team from multiple departments, capable of scaling Northvolt's operations in Sweden and beyond. You will be executing the long term commissioning plan reporting to the commissioning manager.
Specifically, you have a deep understanding of working with multiple teams as well as matrixed organizations.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for coordination of commissioning activities within assigned systems or process areas
Interface with various internal and external groups; electrical and mechanical/piping contractors, installation team, process engineering, automation and IT/network teams
Drive the day-to-day execution of Commissioning of the assigned area
Follow completion status of assigned systems and equipment
Assist in administration of control of work (Permit to Work) on site

Skills & Requirements
Qualifications/education/experience :
A relevant university degree (B.Sc. / B.Eng. or similar) or apprenticeship in relevant discipline
5+ years of relevant industrial experience within commissioning/completions role
Fluency in written and spoken English
Specific skills:
Execution of system commissioning
Ability to follow multi-discipline construction status
Self-supporting and self-motivating
