Trident Maritime Systems (TMS) are expanding it's team of field engineers who can perform start up and commissioning of automated HVAC systems onboard cruise ships in locations around the world.
We are looking for candidates that have experience from similar roles, for example you may have previously held the position of a ship owner representative during NB or DD or as a commissioning engineer from other OEM's of ship equipment. It is a must that you have the knowledge and experience as a travelling commissioning or superintendent engineer for Electrical and Automation systems.
(TMS) Energy efficient HVAC automation solutions is developed by experts both in-house and in the field. It will be your task to complete the system and provide a comprehensive hand over to the end customer. This includes final installation, fine tuning and adjustment in PLC and SCADA/HMI, finishing energy saving report and training of the crew. All work carried out onboard is to be subsequently documented in a professionally written report.
This role includes frequent travel and therefore it is not necessary that you are based in Gothenburg and you may start your travel from within in the EU region. The role is expected to include approximately 160 days of travelling per annum where you will be based predominantly onboard cruise ships either during operation or in dry-docks around the world.
Qualifications
• Proven experience from similar positions
• Experience from leading personnel during projects onboard
• Capable of reporting progress to the project manager on a daily basis
• Excellent skills in English, both spoken and written
• Willingness to travel, both long trips and within short notice
• The right to work within the EU
• Any form of entrance right to the U.S. (ESTA, B1/B2, Green card)
