For our Kanthal Services team, we are now looking for a service-minded and solution-oriented Commissioning Engineer, who wants the opportunity to take on exciting challenges in a growing business that contributes to energy efficiency and a better world! The position is flexible.
Job Summary
As Commissioning Engineer your key responsibilities are to work with the Kanthal Services factory team and engineers to lead the process of getting the newly manufactured furnace fully installed and running at the customer's site. To ensure 100% safety-first goals in all aspects of the commissioning process, you are responsible for all tool functional testing (FATs and SATs), assisting in shipment procedures and assisting customers in installations - always focusing on getting high customer-satisfaction ratings.
Other responsibilities of this position are the performance of upgrades and improvements on already installed furnace systems; field audits; customer warranty or assistance tasks; and similar activities.
You report to the Global Project Manager.
We are looking for someone with a degree in Engineering, or equivalent. You have extensive experience from large capital equipment projects in a similar industrial environment, as well as from working in a service organization and having customer interactions. As we operate internationally, you must have excellent skills in English. Other language skills are advantageous.
