It is a work of great freedom under your own responsibility, where you are offered many career opportunities both in Sweden and internationally.
UGM Service has a global responsibility within ABB for service and commissioning to mines underground. We work with equipment, transportation equipment, ventilation control and mechanical services. We make upgrades to the mining hoists all over the world and are involved in the development of new mining hoists together with our product company. In addition, we are working on projects to create new services and products to further simplify mining services.
Tasks
in this position you will commission hoists. This means that you will , among other things, lead work activities, coordinate our work on site and educate operators during commissioning. Each commissioning will imply thorough preparations as
well as completion with time sheets and reports. You will also collaborate with staff from various functions within our unit and provide technical support to our customers. Although you are based in on of the location Västerås, Skellefteå , Luleå
or Kiruna, most of the work will be performed in northern sweden or abroad. You will travel approximately 150 days annually and in period of two to four weeks. This means that you will have the benefit to experience various sites and countries all over the globe. All these responsibilities will add valuable competence to you repertoire and you will have great development opportunities within ABB.
Requirements
We are looking for a technically interested person who always puts the customer in focus and is good at communicating and building relationships. You have a degree in technical or electrical. You can also have worked to have same knowledge. In addition, if you have experience in electrical engineering, service and maintenance, it is worthwhile. We
would like to know that you have knowledge of ABB's drive and control systems such as Advant / Master, 800xA, AC800m, AC500, Tyrak XL, ACS800, ACS6000, CAD and E3 for electrical engineering. Knowledge in mining hoists is extraordinary. Driving license is a requirement. You speak and write English without any problems.
