We are looking for a Commercial Sales Manager
The Position
For our sales opportunities in the Oil and Gas and Industrial Power Generation industry we are searching for one or two competent Commercial Sales Manager(s) who seeks a new exciting challenge. We seek an ambitious team player who - together with the Leading Sales Manager ? works for converting the company?s opportunities to won orders. You will, in close cooperation with expert functions, manage the financial and contractual aspects of the opportunity and work as an active member of the Sales team both externally towards customers and internally towards other functions.
The position offers a unique possibility to develop in the area of Oil & Gas Solutions and Industrial Power Generation projects in a fast moving environment. You will work in an international team with Commercial Sales Managers and Sales Managers and will report to the Head of Commercial Sales Management.
Responsibilities/Tasks
Depending on the background of the successful candidate the focus of the position will be to work with Sales opportunities where the customer is:
• An external company
• Another Siemens Business Unit
In both cases the business opportunity is to sell either: Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines or Power Plants.
Focus of the position will be on Bid to won Order process:
Coordinating and organizing financial and commercial activities within the scope of the applicable business process for Sales. This includes areas such as:
• Project set up structuring
• Risk & Opportunity Management
• Currency risk handling during bid phase
• Financial Instruments and Project Financing
Form part of negotiation team (as necessary in each individual project)
Drive and Execute General Projects within the Commercial Area including Implementation and Alignment of Siemens Rules and Guidelines
Hand over of won projects to Project Execution and appointed Commercial Project Manager.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Administration or Commerce (or an education in engineering with proven commercial experience)
Knowledge
Project set up, currency, contracts, financial risk management
Microsoft office programs
Fluent in English and Swedish, oral and written, additional language is of advantage
Experience
Relevant commercial experience from sales in the industry or infrastructure sector (3 years minimum) or experience in the area of project financing, procurement, legal or trade finance with a strong developing attitude.
