As part of the Program and Contract Specialist you will operationally report to the Program Manager and functionally to the Commercial Director. You are responsible for managing all relevant contract and program data and in regards to our customers. It lies within your responsibility to Negotiate and coordinate both with customers and with other internal functions - as well as with other GKN companies where applicable - to support the Integrated Program Team with contractual and program expertise and administration.
Key Responsibilities
• Be the main customer interface for communication regarding customer
Contracts/ orders and deliveries with customer from US, China, Japan and
Germany
• Working with Business Development to support new contracts
• Monitor and participate in customer market review meetings in order to prepare the
monthly program sales forecasting review;
• Update GKN demand planning system with the long term volumes and secure
preconditions for operations planning which you also is part of
• Support the Financial Function in the handling of excess material from a demand
perpective;
• Lead customer demand review meeting
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor degree; Accounting, Business Law is important areas
• Excellent Ability to communicate very effectively with our customers and other functions
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills with the ability to multi-task;
• Flexible and effective team player
• Skilled in Excel and CRM
* Good skills Cross Cultural experience
* Very good English and German language skills orally and in writing
