Commercial Product Specialist

We are proud over our product portfolio of agriculture machinery, developed together with ground-breaking agronomy concepts. With state-of-the-art machinery comes demands of continuous knowledge development about machine set-up, functionalities, and service. Here is where our Sales Enablement team plays a crucial part regarding knowledge transfer, both internally within Väderstad Group and externally to our customers and partners worldwide.
To further develop and improve the support to our customers, partners and colleagues we are expanding our Sales Enablement team with more Commercial Product Specialists.

Purpose and content of the position
Act as an ambassador for products and concepts, to spread knowledge, know-how and best practice. As a Commercial Product Specialist will you work close to the markets in order understand the needs and secure that our colleagues and partners have the preconditions for a professional sales & service approach.
The Commercial Product Specialist will have ownership of competence and training in regards of products usage and product sales. You will conduct or support trainings physically or digitally within Väderstad Academy, as well as developing the product training offering in the Learning Management system.
The role also includes the responsibility of bringing market input back to Väderstad, to communicate improvements needed and conceptual ideas.
Main tasks:
Ambassador and speaking partner for products and concepts within our Sales & Marketing organization
Transfer knowledge of products and ensure suitable material is available for partners
Ownership of training content
Conduct and support trainings and educations
Identify needs and contribute to development of marketing material and technical documentation
Lead the Regional Product Specialists and create a well functional competence team
Close work with Business Development and Research & Development for continuous improvements of products and concepts
Participate in exhibitions and customer events
Monitor market and industry developments
If necessary, be available for other tasks within the company

Qualifications
We are looking for a person with practical experience of agriculture machinery, with knowledge and experience of crop production and with communicative skills.
We also believe that you:
Have some form of relevant academic higher degree/education.
Have a self-propelled, "hands-on" mentality and a structured way of working.
Have analytical ability and problem-solving skills
Experience in working both independently or together with others to deliver quality and reach set targets
English language skills, both verbal and written, it would be beneficial if you have additional language skills as well.
Driver's license and the willingness to travel about 100 days per year is needed.
Most importantly is however that you are the right person for this position. Depending on your interest, experience and personal character can this role be tailored to either a product specific specialisation or to a broader area of responsibility for machine concept analysis and communication.
