To strengthen the Cluster North Commercial Service Market function within Business Region Europe we are now recruiting a:

Commercial Parts Manager, Market Sweden

Cluster North within Business Region Europe is responsible for the sales of vehicles, spare parts and services in the Nordic markets of Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. We provide aftersales services and customer support through a network of more than 200 private and company-owned retail outlets.

The position reports to the Commercial Service Market Manager Cluster North and will be responsible for the development of the parts business predominantly within market Sweden. It plays an important role in the business plan process within the service market area, as well as in securing a functional supply chain for bus parts within the market, and works closely with the retail network to grow sales to bus customers.

Main activities and responsibilities:
• Drive and push parts sales throughout the national dealer network.
• Implement and follow up commercial service market parts strategy and targets of volume, GP and customer satisfaction relating to spare parts.
• Interact with Key Customers on matters relating to spare parts such as the forming of parts agreements, taking part in quarterly meetings and activities to drive Uptime and parts penetration in customer fleets.
• Responsible for the parts product offer, pricing and marketing, incl. bus-related products within Volvo Truck Shop Europe.
• Business intelligence in the area of spare parts.
• Identify training needs.
• Actively cooperate in the business plan process including follow-up.
• Take part in the sharing of best practice between markets within Cluster North and Europe.
• Secure inventory and parts availability, particularly in relation to new bus deliveries.
• Continuously look for ways to improve commercial offer and sales channels relating to bus parts.
• Collaborate with Volvo Trucks to secure a Bus focus in common areas such as spare parts pricing strategy, and promote a unified "One Volvo" approach towards the dealer network.

Profile

We think that you have a genuine interest in selling and a passion for building customer satisfaction. You approach your tasks in a structured way, can easily form targets and evaluate available sales data to find unexplored opportunities. You want to create value for Volvo, dealers and customers and see the benefit in collaborating with multiple partners to achieve business goals.

We think that you have experience from spare parts within Volvo in one way or another and an understanding of the success factors of the Swedish bus operator. You have a positive attitude, a personal drive and also work well with others.

Key requirements:
• Commercial mindset and understanding of the Bus business and customer needs.
• Passionate about developing the business and finding new and better ways of doing things, adding value for our customers and eliminating waste.
• A highly customer focused attitude.
• Self-motivated, able to manage time and prioritize work load.
• Team-player with excellent networking skills.
• Analytical ability.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• At least 5 years' commercial experience from the spare parts business. Retail business experience is a benefit.
• Experienced in the Bus service market area.
• Proven sales competence and/or successful track record in a customer facing role.
• Basic technical understanding of the Volvo product range will help in this role.
• Knowledge of Volvo commercial and logistics processes and systems highly desired.
• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office programs, Excel in particular.
• Proficient in the English language but must also be able to communicate in Swedish.
• University degree in engineering and/or business or logistics or comparable experience.
