At HMS Networks, we have a high growth pace challenging us to constantly change and improve our ways of working. The Global Operations team supports our global sales organization with common tools and processes. We also coordinate Marketing Communication processes and activities across our Business Units and Market Units as well as Technical Services and Academy.

We are now looking for a Commercial Operations Manager to head up this team of 15 people. At HMS you will find an atmosphere which is modern, hi-tech, innovative, and friendly. You will be a part of the global commercial organization. Your team is established and well working. The position is new and will take over several direct reports from the CCO. About the role

As Commercial Operations Manager, you will primarily work with internal stakeholders in an international, friendly, and fast-paced environment. Your Commercial Operations team consists of Sales Operations, Marketing Communications, Digital Channels, Technical Services and Academy and you will set the agenda to secure that we have the processes and tools necessary to reach our growth targets. The main stakeholders are the five Market Units covering Sales, Marketing Communications, Technical Services and Customer Service in a specific geographical area. All in all, we are around 250 people in the global sales organization. The second most important stakeholders are the four Business Units, responsible for developing our product offering. You will manage managers and report to the Chief Commercial Officer. The position is based in our headquarters in Halmstad.

Among other things we want you to:

Be a great leader and manager for the different groups in the Commercial Operations team, with six direct reports.
Drive the digitalization of marketing and sales in close collaboration with IT and other internal stakeholders.
Coordinate marketing activities with our five Market Units and take an active role in supporting & challenging our marketing communication teams in delivering great marketing and generating substantial leads for sales success.
Coordinate product launch activities with our four Business Units and take an active role in supporting & challenging our product managers in delivering great marketing and product offer strategies enabling success on the market.
Develop our sales and customer services processes to fit present and future business needs
Continuously improve our Technical Services.
Expand our HMS Academy function to incorporate internal training in processes, tools, and methodology.

About you

You are a team player with great leadership skills. You understand business related challenges and goals. Furthermore, you have good communication skills, thrive in an international environment, and of course have a passion for marketing and sales in a global context.

Your background and skills:

University degree in an appropriate area, such as marketing or business economics
Work experience within marketing and sales in B2B, preferably from tech industry
Experience and skills in managing and leading teams
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and writing skills
A structured, goal oriented and a collaborative mindset
As this is an international role, you will need to be fluent in both spoken and written English
