The role We are now looking for an ambitious Commercial Lawyer to build our legal team in Stockholm, Sweden. As our Commercial Lawyer you must have a varied skill set, including a business and financial acumen to best lead our corporate in-house legal department. We are looking for someone proficient in legal research with hands on experience in contract drafting, analyzing and negotiating commercial agreements. This is a broad role where you should be able to handle complex commercial work and have an enthusiasm for business development. This is a great opportunity to join a start-up and join the banking revolution in a fun, fast-growing and dynamic young company.Requirements Solid experience of commercial law within a full spectrum of commercial work - including joint ventures, correspondent banking, employment agreements, shareholder agreements and business growth strategy. Legal degree and preferably 3+ years of commercial contracting experience in banking, finance or FinTechStrong communication and time management skillsHigh level of integrity paired with excellent judgment, supported by a point of view that is thought out and communicated well in writing and speakingAbility to work with limited supervision including sound judgement regarding how and when to escalate issues internallyComfortable working in the fast-changing FinTech startup worldEnglish level: Fluent (mandatory) Swedish level: Fluent (mandatory)Main responsibilitiesSupport the legal needs of the business arising from other business activities and areas such as treasury, technology and engineeringProvide legal, practical, decisive guidance to Finance, Marketing, Business Operations and the Business Development teams that balance business objectives and legal riskStay up-to-date on relevant industry, commercial, privacy and employment laws and regulations What FTCS Sweden offers At FTCS culture is paramount.
