Purpose of the role
To lead the accounting and reporting functions for the Scandinavian Region and develop strong commercial partnerships with the CEO (based in Stockholm), Group CFO (based in London) and local country managers across Sweden and Finland.

You will be part of the Nordic leadership team and report to Group CFO and work closely with Country Managers in the Nordics as well as Group Controller. Location is northern Gothenburg area.
Key responsibilities
• Responsible for the in-house finance function in Sweden and outsourced finance function in Finland
• Oversee the production and review of monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis against forecast and prior year
• Co-ordinate the payroll for Sweden with the outsourced payroll provider, EY
• Provide commercial finance support to the COO and CFO including P&L and customer KPI trends and investment ROI
• Prepare weekly cash forecasts across all businesses and identify opportunities to improve cash flow
• Lead the annual budgeting cycle and ad hoc re-forecasts
• Manage and coordinate audit and compliance matters
• Work closely with the central finance team in London on any group audit or reporting requirements
• Drive alignment of finance policy
• Occasional travel to Finland to go through budget and forecast assumptions with the local team
• Work closely with the Shared Service Center (SSC) to improve the quality of financial and KPI reporting across the region, and to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the Swedish and Finnish finance function
• Rapid integration of newly acquired businesses into the SSC and onto standard Miss Group finance systems, processes and reporting
• Lead and develop your team of 4 people
Key behaviours & experiences
• Recognised Scandinavian professional accountancy qualification with strong understanding of K3 and IFRS accounting standards and senior level experience within a commercial, high growth, data focused environment
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English (oral and written). Finnish desirable but not essential.
• Solutions focused with track record of driving process improvement
• Hands on, analytical and pragmatic approach with strong focus on detail
• Confidence, maturity and credibility at all levels of management
• Open communication, transparency and the ability to challenge and influence in a constructive manner
• Inspirational leader preferably with prior leadership experience
