We are currently looking for a Business Student with strong interpersonal- and analytical skills to join our global customer 's Credit and Export Financing team, part time during the semesters and full time during the summer vacations.
About the role
The Credit and Export financing team is part of the finance department of our global customer. They are passionate about contributing to customer satisfaction and success by supporting sales with financial solutions. They leverage on their network, knowledge, experience and holistic view in order to identify and mitigate risks and support sales with the best financial solutions. They are a center of expertise and offer their services to all the truck brands of the company.
After an integration period to acquire an overall understanding of the group rules, the different tools used in credit and export financing, you will participate actively to the team 's operations by supporting the Commercial Credit Manager. You will have the opportunity to interact with their markets and in cooperation with the sales team, importers and partners investigate the best solutions for their customers
As a Commercial Credit Risk Trainee you will work closely with the Commercial Credit Manager and learn to:
• Define needed credit limits and ensure appropriate management of risk through the set-up of guarantees by using trade finance tools and credit insurance.
• Set-up guarantees in due time
• Keep track of changes in local legislation with the help of the market and adapt financial set-up accordingly
• Coordinate interactions with delivery departments and commercial teams to ensure a smooth process and secure cash flow
• Negotiate with banks
• Support the markets for credit insurance: discussions with underwriters and claim process
• Set-up of credit guarantees
• Support markets to set-up credit processes in alignment with pre-defined credit rules and procedures
• Make a financial analysis and credit recommendation when credit risk is not fully covered
About you
We are looking for a student with strong interpersonal skills who has the ability to work both independently and in a team. We believe you are currently studying Business Administration and that you are mainly interested in the finance/accounting area. This assignment is expected to proceed for about two years, and we are therefore looking for someone who has at least two years left as a student. You will be working about 1-2 days per week during the semesters and full time during summers. However, we are looking for someone who is flexible regarding the amount of work per week as it depends on the workload.
We will pay great importance to your personality and are looking for someone who is structured with strong analytical skills. We believe you have previous experience within Excel and that you overall are a quick-learner with a curious personality. High proficiency in written and spoken English is a must. French is a plus
About the employment
The assignment as Commercial Credit Risk Trainee is a consultant assignment with start date as soon as possible. The initial duration of this assignment is expected to be two years. As a consultant you will get an employment in Adecco Sweden.
