What makes the role as Commercial Analyst at SSP exciting?
We are looking for a Commercial Analyst who will support the Commercial Team, and influence strategy and decisions through data driven analyses, for a category or portfolio of brands. Reporting to the Commercial Analytics Manager you'll be placed at our head office in Arlanda Airport- Stockholm, working across the whole Nordics. Due to Covid-19 we support and encourage our employees to work from home. The collective agreement between Visita-Unionen applies for the role.

Overall role:
As a Commercial Analyst your main responsibility is to support the Commercial Team to create and monitor the commercial/category plan for each of the specified brand or brands to delivering like-for-like sale growth, margin improvement and EBITDA target.
Track sales performance and performance against key business objectives
Reviewing all Commercial activity post-implementation & communicating results
Working to understand Margin movements at a product, unit, brand and country level
Support the Commercial Team to model all Profit & Brand Driving Activity
Working alongside Commercial managers with new openings for modelling of forecast sales mix at product level
Pricing trial elasticity reviews
Supporting on other Centrally Driven Commercial Activity as required

Higher Business/Marketing/Economics degree or equivalent work experience
Preferably 1-3 years of documented experience in an analytical role as consultant/Marketing Research or similar
Speak English fluently and preferable Swedish/other Nordic language
Analytical and commercial mind, good numerical skills, data-driven with exceptional attention to details
Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge, experience of PowerPoint
Experience with software like MS Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar tools would be a great asset
Experience from the food & beverage industry is a plus
