We are growing and would like to see you becoming one of our many talented software engineers with the mission to develop cloud services extending the opportunities of current and future ranges of Axis products by connecting them to the cloud.
What will you do?
You will work in close collaboration with other teams at Axis creating the best solutions for our customers. We build on AWS and we constantly extend our solutions with new technologies as they become available.
We believe that autonomous DevOps team where all individuals are heard is a good way to be organized. We believe that all team members should take ownership from defining user stories, to continuously developing and deploying code to production. To us, continuous deployment brings great opportunities for learning and at the same time great responsibilities towards our customers. The teams can innovate at high speed and make at the same time sure that the system quality and security is not jeopardized.

Who are we looking for?
We believe that you are an open person who is ready to help your team members when needed, and open with the challenges you have, to make the team succeed. You feel comfortable in an environment where the status quo is challenged in a respectful manner with the objective to improve existing solutions. We believe that when you are in doubt, you stay curious and experiment to learn.
You have extensive experience in software development in distributed systems. You have a genuine interest in technology, software design, and sharing your knowledge with others. You have worked in agile teams for years and understand why continuous integration and continuous deployment are important. You know what the DevOps responsibility brings to the day-to-day life of a developer, you know your way around Linux, and have a couple of programming and scripting languages in your bag of knowledge. Experience with the cloud and Golang and being active with your own Open Source projects can make you the perfect candidate for the job.
