Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery, in Finspång, is now seeking for a:
Combustion test engineer
We are expanding and looking for a test engineer with the main mission to work as combustion test engineer in the Component Testing group under Engineering Support department. The tests are carried out in own laboratories and external test facilities, in close cooperation with combustion engineers.
The group is in an exciting and challenging phase, continuing to build skills and experience and to support development of existing and new products and future technology. We are a partner in the creation of a new common Siemens Energy combustion test facility in Berlin, where we will conduct the high pressure combustion tests.
What are my responsibilities?
• Responsible for preparation and execution of combustion tests in internal and external facilities, including test rigs and measurement systems
• Evaluate the tests together with the combustion engineer
• Coordination of suppliers of test rigs and instruments
• Participate in global investment projects of new test rigs
• Participate in research programs
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• Process / Mechanical engineer or Commissioning engineer
• 5 - 10 years working experience
• Languages: Fluent English and Swedish and basic German
• Travelling approximately 50 days / year
