Co:lab Community Developer
For anyone working in community management this is the stuff your dreams are made of: get out there, all the way out in the trenches, and build a following of engaged super heroes that can help Lynk & Co change the future of mobility.
You will become a part of Lynk & Co's internal innovation team; Co:Lab, and the community you are going to build is of the collaboration type. To accomplish this, you will have to apply all your creativity, charm and wit. You will have to hustle, persuade and find ways to make the impossible happen.
But the fun doesn't end there. It will be your and the team's responsibility to take all the ideas we get from the community and breathe life into them. You will work across departments and teams and make sure the company stay in front of the curve at all times.
Summed up, you will:
- Own and continuously develop the online community platform together with our team of software developers.
- Plan and execute community events both online (contests) and offline (hackathon, summits, whatever you identify as an opportunity etc).
- Community operation: recruit, activate and recognize active community members.
- Source and incubate community ideas.
- Build networks with partners, early adopters and community members.
- Work across departments to bring community ideas to life.
- Be the Co:lab team's inhouse go-to-person for support on visuals, UX/UI, copy etc. in ongoing innovation projects.
About you
We are looking for someone who wants a chance to help us build a community of designers, programmers, innovators, and creators, that comes together to shape the future of mobility.
You probably have some sort of experience within marketing or business innovation, but we are all for doing things differently. So, if you see yourself in the following, but lack formal credentials holler at us:
- Problem solver. No one is going to tell you how to do your job. You will run into challenges, and you need to know how to find solution.
- Tech-savvy. You are passionate about new tech because it's the enabler to do cool new stuff. You will own our online community platform, and oversee modifications to increase KPIs. This means making requirement specification and implementing agile sprint with the software team.
- Human observer. Understanding tech is not enough - you need to know what motivates, triggers and drives human behavior.
- Communication. You will have one-to-one contact with community members, teams across the company, and our software development team, so being able to express yourself clearly and visually (photoshop etc.) is a necessity.
- Leadership. You are going to act as a leader for the community and inspire our members to engage. At the same time, you will have to be decisive and sell your ideas in.
- Culture awareness. As you are building a community, the culture is a cornerstone. You will have to ensure and enforce the Lynk & Co culture, so the community become a natural extension of the company.
About Co:Lab
Co:Lab is the main innovation engine within Lynk & Co. Our job within the company is to make cool new stuff happen. We look for new connected services, apps, merchandise and wacky ideas on new accessories and product features. We are the people who ask why to conventions and try to come up with new and better ways to do what needs to be done.
You will report to the Co:Lab Director within the Technology & Business Innovation department.
The position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden at Lynk & Co HQ, but will require some travels, mainly to Geely HQ, Hangzhou, China.
