On behalf of our customer, Poolia is searching for a Cognos Specialist to a project where the aim is to deploy 26 instances of Cognos at the Customer around the world. The basic design is to be based on an existing central instance and they are to be identical setups. To do so we need Cognos-competence within the project in order to be able to do this as effective as possible. You will be able to work remote 1-2 days a week. Publiceringsdatum2012-06-06Dina arbetsuppgifterThe scope of the Cognos Specialist is to assist the Customer to define components, describe setup and packaging criteria, perform the setup, help out in performing the packaging, describe security, analyze the current central platform and describe and implement that and any changes needed, configure and troubleshoot the setups, support handover to maintenance and provide input to documentation like OpAM, Operational Procedures, Architectural Overview, Component Model, and Service Level Characteristica. Provide input on performance testing and tuning.
The main tasks in the assignment will be/a day at work will look like:
Work with the other team members representing AIX, Oracle, Networking etc to perform the tasks stated above.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
In order to be interesting for the assignment, you need to have:
• Knowledge: Cognos installation, deployment, configuration and optimization
• Experience in deploying Cognos on an Enterprise level in an distributed environment.
Furthermore, it is desireble that you have:
• Understanding of distributed Environments
• Understanding of Cognos running under AIX 6.1 and with Oracle 11
• Understanding of virtual environments
• Understanding of Networking requirements for Cognos
• Understanding of Change Managements Processes
• Understanding of Cognos Frameworks and Security models
