hela Sverige We are now looking for a skilled professional to take on the role as
Code Center manager in the Global Diagnostic Portfolio at Volvo IT.
The Global diagnostic portfolio Code Center is the application delivery unit for Maintenance and Project related Releases. At present the Code Center manages deliveries for our diagnostic tools. The goal of the Code Center is to deliver prioritized agreed tasks on time and on cost to the best quality possible. It is the Code Center manager responsibility to assure the operational and tactical management are present to assure this is obtainable. The team size is approximately 50 persons but will both expand and decrease over time in regards to what deliveries are expected for the time being.
Your initial task would be to secure operational delivery from the Code Center, Assure the right key resources are present and have clear goals and prerequisites. You should set a resource strategy with the Service Delivery manager (SDM). Participate in the Release management process and be involved in the Delivery expectations from Customer (together with both SDM as well as the Program manager) as well as taking part in recruiting and manage performance follow ups. Coaching of individual team members in the Code Center is also a part of your daily assignments.
Other task being driven by the Code Center Manager are such as:
• Process improvements within the Code Center
• Quality improvement initiatives, regarding delivery, and all areas surrounding this.
• Efficiency measure implementation
• Improvements and change of internal roles if so is needed
• Set performance indicators and communicate and set tactical goals together with SDM.
• Set the right team spirit and motivate team members
• Evaluate/Propose new methods, implement and improve methods initiatives taken together with Program manager and SDM
• Set a delivery strategy together with SDM
• Participate in implementations of new Applications into the Global Diagnostic portfolio
Your profile:
• You have broad IT background and long experience from handling deliveries to customers
• Preferable you have experience from working with methods such as Scrum and/or KanBan
• You like structure and are solution oriented with a holistic view always aiming for customer satisfaction
• Since the delivery team will consist of global resources you also need to like being a part of a distributed team of colleagues working in an international environment
General qualifications and skills:
• Academic qualifications within the relevant field
• Several years of participating in IT application management or IT projects with high demands
• Strong Communication skills
• Proactive and with a strong drive to continuously challenge and improve
• Excellent command of spoken and written Swedish and English
• Courage and ability to communicate and explain the content of the services within the agreement/portfolio from a delivery perspective
• Capacity to execute against set targets
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to create and maintain a human network
• Experience from work in customer/account teams. Used to daily contact with customers and team members.
