The section Product Documentation is in total approximately 90 persons within five different groups. We have the responsibility of all releases of models, drawings, parts and product numbers within Volvo Car Group. The department is working closely with both engineering and car projects within the company.
What you'll do
As a Change Order Specialist, you are responsible for implementing changes and updates in the PDM-system KDP of Volvo Car Group's products, both during the development and in running production. You work in cooperation with engineers from various development units within P&Q and with factories among others. You will have a predefined area of responsibility like Interior, Exterior or Body in White for various functions or equivalent and you will act as a representative for your area in different projects. You work in a team of colleagues who is working in parallel with you in similar areas of responsibility. Your daily tasks will also include making sure that the parts list and specifications are updated.
Do you fit the profile?
We need to fill one position and we are looking for you that have a passion for cars. Since you will use both Swedish and English it is important that you are fluent in these languages (spoken and written). We also believe you have knowledge and interest in the structure of the car. You also have:
* Technical University experience or equivalent
* Experience of product documentation
* Good knowledge of product development and/or manufacturing processes
On a personal level
We believe you have a logical mind-set. You are communicative and you have the courage and ability to cooperate with several competences. It is important that you have a very good analytical ability since what you do will effect other parts of the company. Further, you are structured and detailed oriented. You like to drive change and implementation and are eager to move forward. We also believe that you are customer focused and relations oriented.
