With your previous experience you have acquired extensive innovation process expertise where you led both yourself and others in a complex context. You have a broad knowledge of how to translate strategic plans into synchronized initiatives incorporating the management of budget and other key business performance measurements.
We see that you have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience leading innovation and business development ideally with a background in product design, interaction and or service design. Multi-channel retail and global market knowledge is a must-have at a commercial and operational level for this role. Above all you must love the problem and enjoy the journey of researching, ideating, developing, piloting and implementing new services, experiences and new ways of working.
YOUR RESPONSABILITIES
The purpose of Strategy, Development & Innovation at Ingka Group is to envision and enable the Ingka of tomorrow through supporting the development and deployment of innovation capability at IKEA. We do this by delivering to the evolving needs, wants and desires of our co-workers and customers (the many people).
As an Innovation leader your responsibilities will be to develop and deploy these capabilities together with the global organization, acting swiftly to address strategic needs through a pro-active learning by doing mind-set.
To succeed, our function must activate and maintain constant engagement with fellow co-workers and customers in order to identify insights, methods and new ways of working that strengthen our competitiveness and empower us to reach our objectives:
• Make IKEA affordable for people who cannot afford IKEA today.
• Reach and interact with many more of the many people, where they are.
• Create a positive impact for people, society and the planet.
Your work would include:
• Build innovation and co-creation capability by leading and supporting strategic initiatives and methods, tools and mind-set across the organisation and specifically within the Ingka Innovation Group Function mandate.
• Lead and enable assigned activities in support of the IKEA innovation methodology (DNS) across the areas of exploration, ideation, co-creation, development, piloting, and deployment.
• Secure consistent and relevant customer experiences through a multichannel approach by ensuring that the organisation is always connected, informed and empowered to tap into customer motivations.
• Work around constraints and barriers with a "how might we" and "why should we" mind-set to package possible solutions and help envision a meaningful and relevant future for co-workers and customers.
• Live the IKEA values through a balance between a diplomatic and rebellious approach that inspires creative problem solving, and empowers co-workers to pursue extraordinary achievements.
Be a pro-active and engaged IKEA spokesperson, influential brand ambassador, and change agent that promotes an innovation and co-creation mindset, new ways of working and the adoption of creative new solutions that create a better quality of life for the many people.[MA1]

Strategy, Development & Innovation enables and support Ingka's global innovation capability by leveraging our (DNS) framework and co-creation movement to orchestrate collaborations across business units, IKEA markets functions and the global group function.
