We are looking for a highly creative CMF designer to join our team and work on assignment at one of our biggest OEMs. You will work in a team to create and deliver colour, material and finish proposals in close collaboration with other design disciplines.
Assignment Description:
Create and deliver complete design proposals according to design vision/brief and project prerequisites within a given gateway/deliverable timeline.
Produce creative and detailed design solutions fulfilling technical criteria working in close collaboration with other design disciplines.
Develop CMF concepts, which are translated into physical solutions and prototypes in cooperation with CMF Specialists and in-house trim shop.
Prepare presentations and materials for design reviews. Being able to visualize concepts digitally (in Photoshop, VRED) with support from visualization team.
Attend in project and engineering meetings, representing CMF.
Work closely and interact with both internal as well external stakeholders.
Requirements:
Min. bachelor's degree within Industrial Design, Transportation Design or Fine Arts.
Mimimum of 5 years' experience in design related industries. Experience within automotive/transportation design is an advantage
Deep knowledge in design process and methodology as well CMF development.
Fluent in English.
Understanding of complete car development process is an advantage.
Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite & VRED with ability to visualize and communicate ideas effectively in 2D and 3D. A motivated, organised and highly creative team player with high understanding of colour and materials design with excellent creative instincts and the ability to communicate them effectively both verbally and visually.
Flexible and able to work under constrained time schedules and frequently revised circumstances. Entrepreneurial mindset.
