Do you want to lead activities within the CMC medical device development, currently in an exciting and expansive phase? Can you lead a project team to deliver technical and science-based solutions and at the same time create an open-minded and positive environment? Then this can be the role for you!
About the position
As CMC Lead in the medical device development department, you will be responsible to define, implement and deliver the CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control) parts to Galdermas development projects according to set strategy & plans. In collaboration with other functions within the company, you will be a key player to drive the aesthetics innovation progression and contribute to Galderma's short- and long-term growth.
As CMC Lead, you will:
* Manage technical cross-functional CMC teams to define and implement the CMC development strategy and plan from early stage until launch for Galdermas on-going development projects
* Represent the CMC department in the project teams, and towards other departments, divisions and external partners to ensure alignment on strategy, activities, timelines and budget.
* Lead CMC activities, providing technical and science-based solutions for the projects.
* Ensure active collaboration with Quality Management for project related quality topics
* Ensure transfer and coordination from CMC Department into manufacture in the later stage of development phase.
* Work closely with Regulatory Affairs to ensure alignment of strategy and support from CMC when required.
* Ensure appropriate reporting and documentation of CMC project progression inside and outside the team.
About You
You have a university degree within science or engineering in relevant field (e.g. chemistry, biomaterials). In addition, you have + 5 years of experience from leading development projects, teams or activities, preferable with specific experience from medical device and/or CMC in early to late phase.
In addition to leading the activities and ensure delivery, you could also act as technical expert in your field or expertise. You are used to work in an international environment with excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in Swedish as well as in English.
You are also strategic, well-organized and ambitious. You know how to implement a strategy, influence others and ensure delivery from your team by creating an open-minded and positive environment.
