Klarna has since the start had a very strong focus on building a world class development unit, we have come a long way but still need more people to strengthen our department! The department currently consists of over 40 reputable developers and technicians who together have over 100 years experience in Erlang and over 300 years of programming experience. Klarna's passion and strive to be in the technological forefront permeates in everything we do: reliable servers, user-friendly Web interface and financial services.
Job description:
We want our team to grow and to achieve this goal we need you to take the role as a Cluster Manager at Klarna's R&D department. You will be responsible for a team of 15 employees, including three team leads (i.e. three scrum team who reports back to you), and also work together with your CTO with recruitment of more skilled programmers. Since your team will be composed of high class experts in programming, we require that you are well informed in this field of expertise to be able to contribute to discussions related to the area in question. We will therefore see it as an asset if you have knowledge in Erlang, but will still find your profile interesting if you fulfil other requirements set for this position. Other strong qualifications are that you are experienced in Kanban since we work according to this method, and that you can contribute to best practice/architectural issues.
Profile:
Proven experience of programming in pure Agile development environment (Kanban, Scrum, XP etc.)
Proven experience of management in an Agile development environment
Easy to communicate both internally and externally
Very good ability to discuss technical aspects with the developers
Experience of leading people. You are the type of leader who with easiness get people to follow- and look up to you
