About the role
As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will work within a delivery team, designing and implementing solutions on AWS. You will help our clients and teams with architectural decisions by leading the work of selecting the right AWS services, balanced with cloud-native open source technology.
Depending on your experience and your "hands-on"-abilities, you will also be involved in application development, setting up CI/CD pipelines, configuration of containerization and observability solutions or automation of as much as possible, but at a minimum the infrastructure.
Learning by doing, and getting better every day, is the most effective way to become and to stay an expert in your field. We encourage you to get better, through training, experimentation and certifications.
We have a hybrid remote /office working model. We believe it's important to meet the team at our or the clients offices, when necessary, but not everyday.
About you
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to be passionate about growing your technology foundation by learning new technologies and being able to use that knowledge in combination with your architectural toolbox to come up with the best possible solution by utilizing the components and services available on AWS.
You have experience from projects in the role as architect, designing and building cloud-native solutions based on event-driven, microservice or serverless architectures. In order for you to succeed as a cloud architect, you should also have a good understanding of networking and security in the cloud. Experience from API-first design and domain driven design will help you come up with great solutions. You also have a good knowledge of infrastructure as code best practices and you can help out in automation tasks with the latest tools and scripting languages. Hands-on experience in one or several modern programming languages is desired but not required.
To succeed in this role we believe that you:
Have experience in using container technologies, databases, messaging and streaming services of public cloud providers like AWS or cloud-native solutions deployed on private cloud providers.
We also prefer that you hold a technical degree but desire a background in Computer Science. If you hold AWS Professional Certifications or any Speciality levels, this will be seen as a merit.
You must be fluent in English on a professional level in order to communicate with various stakeholders both technical and business oriented. Scandinavian language is a plus!
